In a move considered a first of its kind in Sudanese football—and one of the most modern initiatives on the African continent—the Sudan Football Association has announced the launch
of a dedicated digital platform for broadcasting matches.
The platform will broadcast the Elite League, targeting Sudanese fans both within the country and abroad through paid streaming services offered at nominal rates.
The new platform aims to broaden the reach of local competitions and provide a flexible viewing experience across smartphones, tablets, and dedicated Android and iPhone applications. This allows fans to follow matches from anywhere, without being hindered by power outages or difficulties in commuting away from home.
The Association has established three subscription packages: a daily pass for $2, a weekly subscription for $4, and a monthly subscription priced at $9.99.
Sports sources have confirmed that this project represents a significant transformation in the landscape of sports marketing in Sudan—particularly as a portion of the financial proceeds will be allocated to support clubs and contribute to programs aimed at revitalizing sports activities and infrastructure within the capital, Khartoum.
