Association's Media Department continues its intensive efforts to ensure the successful live streaming of the Elite League matches. It announced the completion of all technical, engineering, and logistical arrangements for broadcasting today's highly anticipated match between Al-Merreikh Khartoum and Al-Hilal Al-Fasher, part of the third round of the Elite League for the 2025-2026 Sudanese Premier League season. The match is scheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 3:45 PM at the Kober Sports City Stadium.
The Media Department confirmed that the match will be broadcast live on the Sudanese Football Association's official website: www.sfa.sd via the live streaming service (location). This is part of the Association's plan to enable fans to follow Premier League matches both inside and outside Sudan, despite the various circumstances and challenges. The administration explained that the platform will be available free of charge to viewers within Sudan (https://sudan.sfa.sd), while the broadcast will be encrypted with a subscription fee for viewers outside the country (https://sfa.sd). This ensures the service reaches the widest possible audience of Sudanese football fans and those interested in following the elite stage matches.
The media department revealed that a complete technical and engineering team has been assembled to oversee the broadcast. This team includes an engineer, a sound technician, an electrician, a television director, and a graphics editor, in addition to five cameramen working with multiple cameras to professionally cover all angles of the stadium and the match events, befitting the importance and high public interest of the encounter.
The administration indicated that all technical tests related to the broadcast equipment were successfully conducted yesterday, Friday, as part of the testing process to ensure the integrity of the broadcast, signal stability, and picture and sound quality. This aims to provide a distinguished viewing experience worthy of the Sudanese sports audience. Regarding the accompanying programming, the Media Department confirmed that the broadcast will include a comprehensive analytical studio program starting at 3:15 PM, presented by colleague Mohammed Ali Al-Mahi. This program will cover various aspects of the match, including the teams' atmosphere and preparations, along with diverse analytical and technical segments before kickoff.
The studio will continue its coverage during halftime with a technical analysis of the first half's events and a review of the key tactical and technical aspects. The program will conclude with a final studio segment after the final whistle, providing a complete technical evaluation of the match and highlighting the most important moments and events. The match commentary will be provided by colleague Al-Nazeer Babiker Al-Bashir.
For his part, Atef Elsayed, Director of Media and Media Coordinator at the Sudanese Football Association, confirmed that all necessary arrangements have been completed to broadcast the match via the association's official platform, www.sfa.sd. He explained that the association is giving great attention to the online broadcasting of the Premier League matches, stemming from its keenness to provide Sudanese fans inside and outside the country with the opportunity to follow the tournament's matches regularly and in high quality.
He added that the Media Department is working according to a comprehensive plan to develop the online broadcasting experience and provide professional media content that reflects the value of Sudanese competitions and keeps pace with the significant development witnessed in modern sports broadcasting and transmission. He pointed out that the Elite Stage matches represent one of the most prominent sporting events that enjoys a large audience, which necessitated special preparation and comprehensive equipment to ensure the broadcast is of the required standard.
