Engineer Yasser Nasreddin Hamza Al-Samani, Vice President of the Sudanese Football Association, Chairman of the Development and Technical Committee, and Head of the
National Football Team (the Falcons of Jediane), arrived in the Senegalese capital, Dakar, on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. He will face the Senegalese national team (the Lions of Teranga) in the sixth round of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
He was received at Dakar International Airport by His Excellency the Sudanese Ambassador to Senegal, Abdul Ghani Al-Naeem Awad Al-Karim, and members of the embassy, along with Mr. Alaa El-Din Al-Haj Taha, Head of the Executive Office of the Sudanese Community in Senegal, and members of the Sudanese community.
The Head of the Mission assumed his duties and held a meeting at the national team mission headquarters, with the participation of the embassy and the Sudanese community. The meeting reviewed the ongoing preparations and technical and administrative arrangements for the Sudan-Senegal match, scheduled for Friday, September 5, at the Abdoulaye Wade Stadium.
